Oct.,15, 2009 - SoftMirros R & D team finished a new method to calculate Compressional Velocity (Vp), Shear Velocity (Vs) and Density (Den) from angle gathers. Because the new relationship between Vp-Vs and Vp-Den were built, it is possible to optimize to infer the Vp, Vs and Den from one anger trace or even the stack trace through the Conjugate Gradient methods.
